Gosoku Ryu ("fast & strong") is a complete martial arts style composed of special techniques and unique kata created by legendary Soke Takayuki Kubota. Soke Kubota utilized his decades of experience and training to develop a style which combines the blazing speed that comes from the softness of most Chinese styles with the massive power of Japanese techniques. The author also added elements of Aikido, Judo and Jiu-Jitsu to create a near-invincible, yet easily learned martial art that delivers maximum protection on the street and judge-pleasing performances in tournament competition. Soke Kubota is the creator and head of the International Karate Association, and is one of the world's most revered martial arts masters. His Association is represented in over 53 countries and his amazing techniques have been taught to more than 800 police departments and agencies around the world, including the F.B.I., Los Angeles Sheriffs, and the Tokyo and Los Angeles Police Departments. In this groundbreaking text, Soke Kubota instructs the reader in easy to follow, step-by-step lessons. See why Gosoku Ryu is fast becoming the most-widely accepted karate style in the world! 7x10, 189 pages.
